<span data-metadata=""><span data-buffer="">The Five Key Elements You Need in Your Capability Statement

Unlocking opportunities and establishing a strong presence in today’s competitive business landscape requires more than just a compelling pitch. Your capability statement serves as a crucial tool in showcasing your organization’s strengths and qualifications.

In this blog post, we will explore the five key elements that are essential for crafting a powerful capability statement. Whether you’re a seasoned contractor or a budding entrepreneur, understanding and incorporating these elements will undoubtedly elevate your ability to secure contracts and partnerships.

Let’s delve into the core components that make a capability statement not just a document, but a strategic asset for your business success.

1.Services/Competencies

Think about what your customers need. Now think about what you’re good at.

Marry the two!

Write your services/competencies, or (even better), bullet points so your customer can easily digest the information.

2. Customer Highlights

Having a short list of customers on your capability statement is a great way to show your potential customers that you’re qualified to work with them.

Better yet, throwing in a few customer success stories can show them that you’re prepared to take on their specific challenges.

But remember! Keep it short!

3. Differentiators

What makes your company approaches the customers’ issues. How do you tackle complex tasks? Are there specific methods your employees use when solving those problems? Have you accomplished something particularly special? Here’s your chance to highlight it!

4. Company Data

Here’s where you tell the customer all about your NAICS codes, your contract vehicles, your UEID, your website, and how many years you’ve been in business.

5. Contact Information

Do not forget to give the customer some way to contact you! Be sure to include an email address, a phone number, and any other relevant contact information.
